Eligibility: The Thomson Reuters Spring Semester Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes") is open to legal residents of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico who are 18 (19 in AL and NE) years of age or older, are enrolled in a school-approved course of study as a full- or part-time as a student at a participating accredited law school at the time of entry and have a Thomson Reuters Westlaw student password (“Eligible Student”).
Employees, officers, and directors of Thomson Reuters (“Sponsor”), its affiliates and subsidiaries, and the members of their immediate family (parents, siblings, children and spouse) regardless of where they live or those persons living in the same household of such employees/officers/directors, whether related or not, are ineligible (with the exception that Thomson Reuters Student Representatives are eligible). THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS NOT OPEN TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC.
Drawing Periods: Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:00 PM Central Time (CT) on June 2, 2026 and ends at 11:59:59 AM CT on June 8, 2026 and consists of One (1) Drawing period. Sponsor’s computer is the official clock for the purposes of the Sweepstakes.

How to Enter:
Participants will be required to do the following:
The Sponsor will conduct the drawings. By participating, entrants (“Entrants”) agree to abide by the Sponsor’s decisions which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes.
In the event that a winner is selected but does not respond to our request for their delivery address within 2 business days, a new winner will be selected. This process will continue as needed until a winner who provides an address is identified.
There will be one sweepstakes winner, and they will be contacted privately via direct message on Instagram for their shipping information.

Limit of one (1) of each prize per drawing period per Eligible Student. No prize substitution, but Sponsor may, at its sole discretion, substitute the prize with a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable for any reason. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. All federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of each winner. Any Commonwealth of Puerto Rico taxes or assessments levied on the prizes as of the date of delivery thereof to the winner shall be the winner’s sole responsibility. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be assigned. ARV of all prizes is $620.95.
PRIVACY AND THIRD-PARTY TERMS: By participating in the Sweepstakes, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and agree to Sponsor’s Privacy Policy located at https://www.thomsonreuters.com/en/privacy-statement.html.
GENERAL TERMS: Participation in this Sweepstakes constitutes full acceptance of all of these rules. Failure to comply with these Official Rules or the taking of any action which is contrary to the fair administration of this Sweepstakes shall disqualify the Entrant.
By entering the Sweepstakes, Entrants grant Sponsor, their respective affiliates, and successors a non-exclusive, royalty-free, and irrevocable license to use, publish, display, and distribute the Entrant’s name, likeness, statements (written or oral) and place of residence (city and state) in any and all markets and media worldwide in perpetuity without additional compensation, notification, permission or approval for the purposes of announcing the winner and promoting the Sweepstakes or similar future sweepstakes.
By entering the Sweepstakes, Entrants release Sponsor, affiliates, successors, agencies, prize vendors, and their agents and employees (the “Released Parties”) from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, or damages or losses to any person or property of any kind that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from such Entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes or resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any Prize or any portion thereof (including any travel related thereto).
Released Parties disclaim any and all liability or responsibility for disputes arising between an employee/agent and his/her employer (or other principal-agent relationships) related to this Sweepstakes.
Decisions by Sponsor regarding eligibility, drawings and winners shall be final. This Sweepstakes may be terminated, modified, or suspended by Sponsor in its sole discretion at any time for any reason without any obligation.
Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant it finds to be tampering with the entry process or operation of the drawing; to be acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner; or to have otherwise violated any of the Official Rules.
ANY ATTEMPT BY A CONTESTANT, INDIVIDUAL, OR ORGANIZATION TO DELIBERATELY UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS, AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL OR ORGANIZATION TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. The failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not be deemed a waiver of that provision. Sponsor, and its employees, affiliates, contractors, prize vendor, representatives and legal advisors, are not responsible for: (1) technical, hardware or software malfunctions, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, inaccurate, incomplete or garbled or delayed electronic communications, whether caused by the Entrant or by the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this Sweepstakes or by any human error or unauthorized intervention which may occur in the processing of the entries or administration of this Sweepstakes; (2) entries which are not received or accounted for due to the foregoing technical issues or any other reason whatsoever; (3) any printing or typographical errors in any material related to the Sweepstakes or (4) any injury or damage resulting directly or indirectly from an Entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes, nor acceptance, receipt, use or misuse of any prize.
Under no circumstances will Entrant be permitted to recover awards for, and Entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses associated with entering this Sweepstakes, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. Under no circumstances shall any Entrant or other entity or person have any right to audit the records of Sponsor in connection with this Sweepstakes.
The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Official Rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. If any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these Official Rules shall otherwise remain in effect and shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein. Headings and captions are used in these Official Rules solely for ease of reference and shall not be deemed to affect in any manner the meaning or intent of these Official Rules or any provision hereof. These Official Rules cannot be modified or amended in any way except in writing by a duly authorized representative of Sponsor.
Entrant agrees that any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with the Sweepstakes or any Prize awarded and all issues and questions concerning the validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively in a court of competent jurisdiction sitting in Minnesota. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the Entrant and Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Minnesota, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules, which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Minnesota.
Any and all disputes arising out of this Sweepstakes shall be brought within one year of the end of the final Drawing Period, notwithstanding any contrary statute of limitations.
